By using SKYACTIV® TECHNOLOGY, the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata is 220 pounds lighter than the current model. As a result of its slighter dimensions, the two-seat roadster improves upon its already legendary performance capability.
You'll also be pleased to know that the MX-5 Miata is set to display a 25% fuel economy improvement from its predecessor. The Miata is expected to get up to 36 MPG on highways and 30 MPG combined, according to company estimates.
