Last April, Mazda celebrated an historic moment: the Mazda MX-5 Miata, the best-selling roadster of all time, saw its one-millionth model roll off the production line in Japan, the physical exclamation point to punctuate an amazing year of awards, successes, and accolades for the MX-5 Miata. Well, fans of the iconic roadster are about to get even more great news, because the official U.S. tour dates for the one-millionth Miata have finally been announced. The only dilemma being, which one will you attend?

Fans hoping to see the one-millionth Mazda MX-5 Miata on tour will have two chances to see it in Ohio, once in Cleveland on September 2nd and again in Columbus on September 7th. For those lucky enough to be one of the first 240 attendees at each event, you’ll get the chance to sign the historic one-millionth Miata, and approximately the first 400 attendees will receive a commemorative t-shirt to mark to occasion.

“Last year was the ‘Year of the Miata’ with the launch of the all-new 2016 MX-5, but even a year into the sales of the fourth-generation roadster, that momentum has continued. From winning the 2016 World Car of the Year and World Car Design of the Year, to the introduction of the all-new 2017 MX-5 RF, to our one-millionth Miata milestone, the MX-5 continues to symbolize the innovation and spirit that propels Mazda. With the Millionth Miata Celebration, we’re excited to give back to those who, like us, continue to believe that driving matters.” —Robert Davis, senior VP, U.S. Operations, Mazda North American Operations (MNAO)
