In the last three years, Mazda has proven that its philosophy of "less is more" comes with very few sacrifices in the areas you'd expect. Where one would think that smaller engines and fuel saving technology would cause them to skimp on things they're known for like performance, that isn't the case, especially with the 2016 Mazda6.
The Mazda6 recently got a facelift for 2016, introducing a new grille and LED headlights. The rest is familiar to those who owned the model after 2014--the holistic SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY still nets an impressive 40 mpg highway when paired with i-ELOOP regenerative braking. The driving dynamics are also still fun, with paddle shifters that AutoGuide calls some of the best in the business. Also new is the infotainment screen in the interior.
