The new Mazda CX-9 continues where the previous model year left off, fine-tuning its tight handling, sleek interior, and interior convenience features. The new Mazda CX-9 is available to Akron drivers in five trim levels: Sport, Touring, Carbon Edition, Grand Touring, and Signature.
Performance
All trims of the Mazda CX-9 are powered by the same 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine. The sole engine offers Medina, OH drivers 227 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Drivers can enjoy smooth shifting thanks to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard while all-wheel drive is an available upgrade.
Interior Features
The Mazda CX-9 leaves little to be desired thanks to a robustly equipped set of trim levels. Even the base Sport trim of the Mazda CX-9 features an impressive set of features. The Mazda CX-9 Sport trim includes a standard set of driver assistance features, rain-sensing windshield wipers, heated front seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display, tri-zone automatic climate control, and smartphone connectivity thanks to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Things only get better the higher you go up the trim lineup. The Touring trim level adds leather seats, powered second-row seats, and a powered tailgate. The Grand Touring trim adds a navigation system and a host of driver assistance features while the top-level Signature trim features Nappa leather seats and Santos Rosewood interior trim.
